Terms of Service

1. The service

Tipello lets streamers receive crypto tips and show them on stream through alerts and overlays. By using Tipello you agree to these terms.

2. Non-custodial software only

Tipello is a software interface, not a bank, payment processor, money transmitter, exchange, escrow or custodian. Tipello never holds, controls or has access to anyone's funds, private keys or seed phrases. Every tip is a transfer created and signed by the donor in their own third-party wallet and sent directly on the chosen public blockchain (MultiversX, Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Sui or Stellar) to the streamer's address, with a platform fee sent alongside it where applicable.

3. No refunds — transactions are final

• Once a transaction is submitted to a blockchain it is irreversible. Tipello cannot cancel, reverse, refund, freeze or charge back any tip, including the platform fee and network (gas) fees.
• All tips are voluntary gifts. They do not purchase any product, service, content, privilege or obligation from the streamer or from Tipello.
• You are solely responsible for checking the network, coin, amount and recipient before confirming. Tips sent with the wrong network, to a wrong address, or in an unsupported token may be permanently lost.
• Any refund request must be addressed directly to the streamer, who is under no obligation to return a tip.

4. Network (gas) fees

Every blockchain transaction requires a network fee (“gas”) set by the blockchain itself and paid by the donor from their own wallet directly to the network’s validators or miners. Gas fees are not charged, received, controlled or set by Tipello and are separate from any Tipello platform fee. Tipello cannot reduce, refund or recover gas fees, including when a transaction is delayed, fails, is rejected by the wallet or is sent with insufficient gas.

5. Accounts

• You are responsible for your account and wallet security.
• Streamers must provide receiving addresses they own and control, and are solely responsible for their correctness (including any required token trustlines, e.g. Stellar USDC).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts used for fraud, scams, money laundering, abuse or illegal activity, without notice.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to use Tipello.

6. Content

Donors are solely responsible for the names and messages they send; streamers are solely responsible for what they show on their streams. Hateful, illegal or harassing content is not allowed. Tipello does not pre-screen content and is not liable for content created by users.

7. Streamers, platforms and promises

Tipello is not affiliated with Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok or any streaming platform. Streamers must follow the rules of the platforms they use. Tipello is not a party to any arrangement between donors and streamers and is not responsible for any promise a streamer makes (giveaways, rewards, shout-outs).

8. Taxes and legal compliance

Each user is solely responsible for any taxes, reporting and legal obligations in their own jurisdiction related to sending or receiving crypto, and for making sure crypto use is legal where they live. Tipello does not provide tax, legal or financial advice.

9. Crypto risks

Crypto prices are volatile. Fiat amounts (USD/EUR) shown are estimates based on third-party price feeds at the moment of the tip and may differ from the final value. Blockchains, wallets, RPC providers and price feeds are third-party services outside our control.

10. No warranty

Tipello is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that alerts will always appear on stream, or that any wallet or network will work.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tipello and its operators are not liable for any lost funds, mistaken transfers, wallet errors, hacks, network outages, smart-contract or protocol failures, price changes, missed alerts, lost profits or any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees we received from you in the 3 months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to hold Tipello harmless from any claims, losses or costs arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or of any law.

13. Acceptable use and sanctions

• You may not use Tipello for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, scams, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes, lotteries or gambling, disguised sales of goods or services, or any illegal activity.
• You confirm that your funds come from lawful sources and that you are not on any sanctions list (including OFAC, EU or UN lists) or located in a sanctioned jurisdiction.
• We may suspend accounts, hide pages and cooperate with authorities at our sole discretion when we suspect a violation.

14. Copyright

Streamers confirm they own or are licensed to use any sounds, images or other media they use in alerts and overlays. Rights holders can report infringing content through the Report link and we will remove it where appropriate.

15. Changes

We may update these terms or the service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
